Hey everyone. It’s Friday again. It has been a hectic week with my day job. I’m behind in visiting blogs. But the weekend will soon be here.
In searching through my photos this week, I looked for something spooky. (Have to keep the October theme going here.) This is what I found:
I took this on a cold November night in the little town of Jefferson, Texas. My husband and I were taking a “Ghost Walk.” I can’t recall what this building was once used for, nor can I remember any stories about hauntings. But it does look a bit creepy.
You’ll hear more about our visit to Jefferson in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, here are this week’s links:

That building looks like a hospital… or mental institution, if you wish to keep it even closer to the October theme! I’m curious to see what others make of it.
I’m thinking it was something like that but honestly can’t remember. I agree, it does look like an old asylum or hospital.
I always think there’s something sad and lost about a dilapidated building. This one definitely has that spooky element. Nice one, Joan. And thanks for the links 🙂
I agree, Harmony. An abandoned building or house is sad. This one is definitely spooky!
Yes, that works for your spooky theme!
I think so too! Thanks for stopping by, Mark.
I like the picture. Looking forward to your trip post and the ghost walk.
Thanks, Craig.
Jefferson is one of the favorite places for me to visit. I have some absolutely amazing orb pictures taken in Jefferson around the Hanging Tree. Thanks for sharing, Joan!
Wow. I didn’t get any orbs but a mysterious shadow in one photo. I’ll post it I. A couple of weeks. Ghosts or not, Jefferson is neat place to visit.
That is definitely a spooky photo, Joan, perfect for conjuring a creepy story. I love your photo shares. They’re all so intriguing!
Thanks for including my new Wednesday Weirdness post in your links. Wishing you a great weekend!
My writer’s brain can imagine all sorts of stories coming from that photo.
I love your new Wednesday Weirdness posts.
Great list of links, Joan. And I love that picture. I can just imagine all the ghosts inside and the stories they have to tell. Looking forward to hearing all about your Jefferson trip. Happy weekend!
The photo does lead to lots of story possibilities. Enjoy your weekend as well.

We’re finally having fall weather here in Texas. Beautiful blue skies and temps in the sixties! Thanks for stopping by, Robbie.
Love the picture. That would make for a great Halloween short.
Definitely!
